I photograph families year-round. Every season has its charm. I’m happy to help you choose what’s best for your vision and schedule!

Most sessions happen outdoors at one of the many beautiful locations around Pittsburgh. I’ll share a location guide with a variety of spots, from open fields and wooded trails to more urban, downtown settings. Want to stay in? In-home lifestyle sessions are also an option for a cozy, personal feel.

After you book, you’ll receive a prep guide with styling tips and outfit inspiration for the whole family. As a general rule, I recommend neutrals and soft tones, avoiding bold logos or busy patterns so the focus stays on your connection, not your clothes.

Family sessions typically last about 45–60 minutes. That gives us plenty of time for both candid moments and more posed shots, without it feeling rushed, or too long for little ones!

Absolutely! I love when pets or grandparents are part of the session. Just let me know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly and make sure we have enough time for everyone. Please be aware that there is an additional fee for extended family sessions.

Totally normal, and totally okay! I take a relaxed, playful approach that gives kids space to be themselves. We’ll keep things light, follow their lead, and capture real smiles along the way. The best photos usually come from the in-between moments.

You’ll typically receive your full gallery within two weeks. I know how exciting it is to see your images, so I always try to send a sneak peek within a few days of your session!

I recommend booking 4–6 weeks ahead, and sooner for busy seasons. Weekend spots tend to go quickly, so the sooner you reach out, the better!
