Family, Love, and Baby #2: A Heartwarming Newborn Session in Pittsburgh

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a beautiful newborn session this week with another family that I have been working with for several years now. This time, I got to capture the beautiful moments as they welcomed their second little one into the world, a sweet baby girl! It’s always such a privilege to see families grow, and this one was no different.

Big brother was full of energy as he moved around the house switching his focus between baby sister, monster trucks and snacks. His time with baby sister was nothing short of adorable! It was clear that he was already so proud of his new role and couldn’t wait to show off his new baby sister!

Mom and dad were, of course, over the moon as they watched the interactions between their two children. Their calm energy surrounded the room, creating a perfect environment for capturing some precious moments as a family of four. I can see how much love and joy this family shares, and I couldn’t help but smile behind my camera.

Grandparents were also in the background, quietly helping out with big brother and making sure everything went smoothly. It was such a beautiful, multi-generational moment—having family nearby to share in the joy and love of welcoming a new life.

As always, these sessions remind me of how lucky I am to be able to document these early moments that families will cherish forever. It’s moments like these that make me so grateful to do what I do. Congratulations to this wonderful family on their newest addition!
